New Solutions for Latin America

Transforming Lives and Changing Nations

The Transcendental Meditation technique has been taught in Latin America for over 50 years. However it’s only in the last ten years that the program has become more widely available in schools, poorer neighborhoods, in the military and training programs for soldiers, and rehabilitation settings.

The TM program has now been adopted by governments, school systems, military training centers, and businesses, and is offered to entire communities, cities, and states.

Here are a few highlights of ongoing New Solutions programs in five Latin American nations.

Mexico

In October of 2011, the State of Oaxaca started a project to implement the TM Consciousness-Based Education program. Since then, thousands of students have been trained in the Transcendental Meditation technique, and several hundred have also learned the advanced TM-Sidhi program. Watch Video
